Our Jump Area sits behind the race track and opened in June 2022.
Our ethos is to promote all aspects of BMX. The club has a strong history of dirt jumping and freestyle. The Bexhill track was the original home of the infamous Backyard Jams, with up to 5000 spectators attending the Bexhill track throughout the ‘90s.
The Backyard Jams continue to this day hosted by various skateparks around the UK, they form British Cycling’s Freestyle National Series.
5 riders who have previously ridden at JumpClub sessions podiumed at the national freestyle series during 2023, including Elsa Rendall-Todd, pictured here runner-up to Olympic gold medalist Charlotte Worthington.
It’s now time for a reboot. The pro-line take-offs are currently being upgraded to wooden take-offs, which means less maintenance, better quality jumps and more fun. We will aim to improve the table line at a later date.
We strongly recommend that new riders try both racing and skatepark. The Eagles coaching at SourcePark is great way to compliment the JumpClub race training sessions.
